the customer is number one. We strive to insure that your experience with us is smooth and trouble-free from beginning to end.

Paperwork

USG handles all state and utility paperwork associated with your PV system.  Our full time rebate and utility specialists file all forms
in a timely manner ensuring the fastest turnaround times possible.

Warranties

USG warrants all installations for ten years. Our solar module manufacturers provide twenty-five year warranties on their products,
and inverters are guaranteed by the manufacturer for a period of five to ten years, depending on make and model.

Residential Financing

Imagine your solar system being cash-flow positive from day one! We have successfully financed many happy solar customers.

USG provides complete in-house financing for any size project, with a line of services that can help you obtain an equity line of
credit as well as traditional loans providing a fixed payment that is typically less than what you already pay your utility for your
electricity now.

* New Resource Bank
* Bridge view
* Western Heritage

Commercial and Agricultural Financing

Financing options include traditional loans, operational leases, and Power Purchase Agreements.

These solutions give businesses the opportunity to effectively fix monthly costs for energy needs, insulating your business from
escalating energy expenses.

Operational leases
This type of financing is basically an equipment lease, giving your business a fixed monthly electricity payment that rises only
slightly each year. This allows your firm the advantage of controlling monthly expenditures while generating clean energy with no
up-front costs. The solar equipment on the roof is owned by a third-party financier; your business leases the power from them,
guaranteeing a fixed utility cost.

* Solar Power Partners
* Bridgeview Funding
* Saulsbury Capital
* MMA Ventures

Municipal Financing
Eighteen powerful 175 watt solar panels
combined with a 3,000 watt gridtie inverter
make this a compact yet powerful way for
you to plug into the sun. The
package includes all the rooftop mounting
rails, grounding lugs, DC and AC
dissconnects and wire extensions you will
need for a typical istallation at your home
or business.

In January 2007, the state of California implemented the California Solar Initiative. It authorizes the California Public Utilities
Commission to oversee a $2.5 billion rebate program for existing residential customers. The money is collected from the utilities.
The rebate provided to customers of Southern California Edison (SCE), Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), San Diego Gas & Electric
Company (SDG&E), is $2.50 per delivered watt, or more than 25% of the total system cost. This rebate will decline by $0.30 each
time certain benchmarks are reached with the first decline likely in the third quarter of 2007 bringing the rebate down to $2.20
/watt. All local municipal utilities are also mandated to set up a similar rebate program by the beginning of 2008.
In addition to this generous rebate, there is a further Federal tax credit of $2000 for your renewable energy system (solar or
wind) after rebates. This comes directly off of the amount of income tax that you owe.

For businesses, there is also a 30% Federal Investment Tax Credit that can be carried forward 15 years or back three tax years.
The “MACRS” five-year accelerated depreciation schedule is also applicable. For businesses, we have often seen paybacks as low
as three years and internal rates of return in excess of 25%.
